Each product is made to order, therefore we are unable to accept any returns or exchanges. All products are considered final sale.

In the rare event that you believe you are sent the incorrect product or size please contact us within 14 days of the delivery date so that we can fix this for you.

Cat FAQs

Yes! To change the color of the breakaway buckle, add an order note on the cart page. If ordering multiple collars; reference which collar you are requesting the change for. You must reference a buckle color that's used in another design in our shop so we know exactly what you're looking for.

Yes! To substitute the color of the collar's metal pieces, please add an order note on the cart page.

Metal color options include:

  • light gold
  • yellow gold
  • rose gold
  • silver
  • black
  • rainbow

Things to acknowledge

  • we will only change the bell's color if the collar design is offered with a metal bell by default(gold, silver, rose gold, black). If your design comes with a painted colored bell(red, orange, yellow, etc), we will leave it as is unless you specifically request to change it to metal
  • Rainbow metal will be paired with a metal purple bell if applicable
  • If your collar's design is offered with an optional metal charm, we are unable to customize the color of the metal charm

Yes, we offer white or black plastic non-breakaway buckles for our cat collars. To request one, just leave order note on the cart page and specify whether you'd like white or black.

We also offer a metal non-breakaway buckles upgrade here.

Keep in mind, safety is my top priority, so I personally only recommend breakaway collar for cats. These non-breakaway options can pose a safety hazard and prevent injury. Piper Blue is not liable for any damages or injuries that occur.

Each cat collar is made with a breakaway safety buckle. The buckle is designed to unfasten/disengage when any type of force is applied against the collar. This is essential to prevent neck and strangulation incidents from occurring both inside your home and out. A breakaway buckle can keep your kitty safe from outdoor predators or from getting stuck on something like a fence or tree branch. I test each breakaway buckle to ensure it functions properly.

Before purchasing, please acknowledge that the downside to breakaway collars is that they can come off during undesirable times. If your cat tries to take off his collar, he will probably succeed. This is no quality issue of our collar or its’ buckle. In order to properly function; breakaway buckles must come unfastened when any type of force is applied(even if that force is your cat’s paw).  Also keep in mind, breakaway collars can never be used with a leash! 

If your kitty is taking his collar off frequently and is still adjusting to the feel of wearing one; with some patience and consistency on your end, mostly any cat will eventually adjust to the feel of a collar and will no longer try taking it off!

Our cat collars should never be used with a leash. Even when selecting a non-breakaway buckle upgrade for our cat collars, they are still not intended for leash use. 

Each charm is attached securely with double loop rings and we use industrial grade glue on the hooks of our resin charms. However, in the extremely rare event that your charm breaks in any way on its' own (this does not include your cat chewing on the charm, playing with it, etc.), please contact us within 30 days from your order’s delivery date and I will send a replacement charm out to you on the next shipping day! Beyond this 30 day timeframe, I unfortunately no longer offer complimentary replacements.

Piper Blue is unable to offer replacements for lost collars. We are sorry to hear this happened. However, this likely means the breakaway buckle functioned when necessary to keep your cat safe and prevent injury!

Dog FAQs

I am very honored that you're interested in buying other products from Piper Blue! However, we unfortunately do not currently offer buckle engraving or any other products that are not currently listed in our shop!

Unfortunately we do not.

Due to fabric sizing and availability, we are only able to do this for dog collar widths 3/8" and 1/2".

Just order any other dog collar design in the size and hardware choice you'd like, and make sure to add an order note on the cart page to let us know the cat collar fabric design you would like it made in instead!

General FAQs

Since all of our items are made per each order, we are final sale only and are unable to offer exchanges and returns. We highly recommend measuring your pet’s neck prior to ordering to avoid picking the wrong size. Our sizing guides can be found on each item page.

If you measure your pet and still need help selecting a size, feel free to contact us!

During normal time periods, I need about 1 week to create your order by hand. During busier time periods, I may need up to 2 weeks to create your order. These timeframes do not include shipping time; which usually takes an average of 2-6 business days.

Our current processing time is listed on the banner at the top of our website.

If you do not own a soft measuring tape you can either:

- Gently wrap any type of string material around the neck, including a couple to few fingers space inside. Then hold that string up against a flat ruler

-Measure the length of your pet's current collar. Only include 1 side of the buckle into the measurement, and make sure that the collar is adjusted to their current neck size.

We love your enthusiasm to be creative! Unfortunately we do not offer customized patterns/designs. Feel free to contact us with any design ideas you may have and they may be considered in the future. If we ever offer your request in the future, we will reach out to let you know it's available. 

Contact us immediately if this happens! If your order has not yet been shipped, we will be able to make the address change.

If your order has already been shipped, it can no loner be changed. Most packages will be returned back to us when this happens (return time back to us can greatly vary). We will notify you the same day the package arrives back and you will be responsible for covering a $5 cost for the new shipping label.

Since everything is made to order and all sales are final, we are unable to give you the option of a refund if the incorrect address was entered; even if the package is en route back to us.

Contact us immediately! If your order has not yet been started, we can easily make a change. However, if your order has already been started, you may either incur an extra charge OR we may no longer be able to make the requested change to your order.

We ship tracked with USPS ground advantage. Shipping generally takes 2-6 business days without any delays.

Delays are very rare; but they do sometimes occur from weather, high volume busy seasons, and other factors. We are not responsible for shipping delays that may occur. However, if your order has been stuck in transit for 14 days or longer; this is no longer considered to be normal, so please reach out to me so that I can assist you!

At this time, we only ship within the US.

At this time we do not offer free shipping or any shipping promo codes.

Unfortunately we do not offer a discount for orders with more than 1 collar.

We are usually unable to give size recommendations based on your pet's weight or breed. We know the general size of many breeds; however, each pet is unique and the size can vary greatly within each breed. Your pet's weight cannot truly determine their neck measurement size. It is essential to measure your pet's neck prior to ordering to ensure you select the right size!

I am unable to replace or refund if your collar accumulates any damage or wear and tear caused from but not limited to: scratching, chewing, or any environmental source.

Each collar is made of quality materials; however, no collar is indestructible. I recommend monitoring your pet while our neckwear is being worn, and to regularly check your collar for signs of wear and tear. Piper Blue is not responsible for any damages or injuries incurred from the misuse of our products.

In the very rare event that we make a mistake, contact us within 14 days of delivery so we can get this taken care of! Including a photo of incorrect item received will help speed up this process.

If your package is lost in transit; these are the steps that USPS recommends taking. They first recommend starting a missing mail search. They may be able to retrieve the package and get it delivered to you. If USPS is unable to locate and deliver your package, keep in mind that USPS includes insurance up to $100 and you can file a claim directly on their website.

Feel free to contact me if you need any assistance, have any questions, and/or if no solution is made with USPS.

I first recommend waiting 3 extra days after the tracking shows your package was delivered. In most cases when this happens, it's due to USPS scanning a package as delivered before it actually is. During this timeframe, I recommend checking with neighbors, other family members in your home, and any entrances/doors to your home where packages are not normally left. 

If it still does not arrive after the 3 day mark hits, please then contact us within 14 days of the tracking’s delivery. USPS can provide me with exact GPS coordinates of where the package was marked as delivered. If it was mis-delivered, USPS will try retrieving the package and redelivering it to you. If it was mis-delivered and cannot be retrieved, USPS includes up to $100 worth of insurance with each package. You can submit a claim here. USPS’s full terms of service can be found on their website. 

If you notify us beyond 14 days from when the package was marked as delivered, we will still attempt to assist you; however, we cannot guarantee that USPS will be as likely to locate the package once this much time has passed.
